My brother and I
Gotta love the sweater, mittins, and scarf
It's been an entire year, and not a whole lot has changed. Eric and I will be spending Christmas Eve at our mom's and then Christmas day we will be making our way to Angola to spend the rest of the week at our dad's. Christmas shopping isn't one of my favorite things to do, but once I start...I can't seem to stop. If I see something else that someone might like (even if I've already gotten them something) I have to buy it. Their gifts won't be the same without it. There will always be clothing in their gifts (because I love buying clothes)...but there will usually be something with a little more meaning behind it. I wrap every set of gifts (for each person) is somewhat of the same colors...things always have to match. There can't be too many bags...and the boxes need to be just right. I don't so much do 'tags' on them, they are more like post-it notes....and then once they are set under the tree in groups I take the note off. Wow, after reading that to myself...I seem pretty insane when it comes to Christmas. The most important part about gift-giving is the look on everyones face when things the wrapping paper is finally ripped off and what ever is sitting infront of them is something that they love. Even if you don't have a very good "surprise face"....their eyes can say a thousand words. I'm not a huge fan of opening presents at the same time as someone else...I think everyone needs there 'moment'. Well I think that takes care of all my Christmas rules... ha* - -I hope everyone has a very merry Christmas!! Remember....there's no need to be careful while opening up presents...just have fun!*
