Just What I Needed

Miss Sarah Koutz texted me today during my first class...and I love interruptions!! She wanted to meet up for coffee after I was done at school - and of course I couldn't let her down. Today started out rather crazy, I got to my 1st class and was totally stressing out thinking about everything I need to accomplish these last few weeks of school - - her text came...and it was delightful*

I accepted her request - also letting her know that I needed to get reading done and was planning on spending time somewhere that sells coffee *it's sad when Jeff tells me he stopped by Starbucks tonight to see if I was there...that tells you how much I'm there* We both showed up at Bella Vitas - which I love (free interweb) - I opened my book....she got hers out - - and we didn't read a word! We talked....and talked...and laughed...and talked* It was so refreshing - and after the day I had - I needed the distraction. Knowing that I didn't get any reading done didn't bother me, because Sarah and I were able to get a lot of chatting done in the 2.5 hrs we were together. It's great looking back and realizing how sneaky God was being when he first introduced us. She's becoming one of my closest friends, I respect her judgment and the passion she has for certain things. The girl is great!

I can't wait for our next coffee date - - and before then...we are going to play catch! yay** =)
