Someone Turned 25...

I picked up the precious cargo in Chicago, we navigated our way flawlessly to Ikea, and ended up driving back into the city to have a dinner with my cousin and her fiance. To me, birthdays are kind of a big deal...there's gotta be presents, cards, CAKE, candles...it's a day fully set aside for that person. I did a good job of letting Jeff know all of that. (...my birthday is in less than a month...keep that in mind* haha....)

I think I got a surprised look from him 3 times...and I'll take that! The cake was number one - - but you always need to make that "one wish" on your birthday. Cleaning and painting were 2 and 3. When we got back to his house I had to show him what all I had accomplished - next time he goes away for a few days he might want to think twice about having his roommates let me do whatever I want. I then had to tell him that for 3 days I had been lying to him - - wooops! He's a smart guy though, and would have figured it out if I wasn't a little sneaky.

....So the birthday is over and the birthday boy has arrived safely back home from his visit to California. Oh, and another thing...IKEA is wonderful* a little overwhelming...but very fun!

Love the pictures. I didn't realize I hadn't already commented about that. Jeff told me he was surprised and loved it. Good job!

I loved the comment on your blog. Good thing Jeff doesn't read my blog. If you look at my facebook you'll see Jeffrey's dad started the mean comments even before we won. Honestly, I expected Jeff to tackle or beat me at church tonight but I didn't see him...or you. May be you guys weren't there. Well that is one less injury I have to worry about for now.
