Mrs Aquila and I decided we better hang out soon, otherwise we were both going to go through some deep depression - - - So last night I got the chance to meet up with her, J, Zac, Bec, Dustin, and Alison. I don't know everyone very well...but after last night...and the conversations that went on, I feel like I have a good idea about 'em now. =) It was absolutely great though, it meant a lot that they invited me to join them for the evening.
Ever since I started attending GCC my friend count has gone up a ton. I remember first going there, seeing how big it was, all the people - - I was freaked out. After finding a core group of people, I started engaging myself with their friends, and then it just kept growing. I'm not a huge extrovert, so I started to grow dependent on where I felt comfortable - with my mom. Although that was great, and I met people that way too - - I knew it was up to myself to make this whole thing work. If was going to make this change, and continue to grow in Christ, doing this on my own wasn't going to so easy. Finding friends and confiding on some accountability people I've found it easier to be myself. I remember meeting Angie for the 1st time, and finding out she was with J...I loved that! They are an amazing couple, and true friends that I love to death. She's helped me through some tough times, and without that support I would still be a complete mess.
Proverbs 27:9

You're my favorite person on earth.
I LOVE YOU!!!
I am so proud of you. There just aren't words. I remember praying for you when you were in diapers, and now your life is influencing mine. I'm sure there are many people who would say you are beautiful on the outside, and you are. But I'm more certain that there are more who would say they have been touched by your heart, your spirit (in all its craziness), and speak of a beauty that will last when the outer beauty fades. It's rare, kiddo. And I count it a blessing to be called your uncle. :) love you.
