Fun For Sure!

Okay so the concert was a HIT last night! I arrived in Indy right on time...but might I add I had to run by Eric's, let the puppies out, and then drive his car back to the store. (Indy is a very confusing place to drive....especially when all Eric's directions were "Al, just keep going south and east!") Yeah, okay, south and east...got ya!

We walked into Lucas Oil around 4 and didn't walk out until midnight - AMAZING! Luke Bryan started things off (don't really know him)...sooo Eric and I walked around the stadium. That's where I bumped into "Kenny Chesney Wannabe". After Luke it was Gary Allan....he did great! We had seen him once before at the Country Concert, he always delivers. LeAnne Rimes was next and she well....did okay. Eric and I were too impressed. Keith Urban was PHENOM! The whole time I was wondering why he was opening up for Kenny....weird. Kenny was next and he played for a good 3 hours. Eric and I stood in the stands and sang our hearts out all night. I'm pretty sure everyone around us wanted to hit us...but we had a good time. We even did the awkward brother sister slow dance just to see if anyone would join in.

Sammy Hagar was a negative - I guess he was a part of the tour earlier. Kenny did have Uncle Kracker come out and sing a few songs with him - - it was great!

Eric and I ended jamming to Boys II Men on the way home, fake microphones and all...!

Apparently they spent 1.3 million building the stage for the stadium (Lucas Oil wasn't meant for concerts...duh) They finally opened the roof up for Kenny and Keith...before that it was rather difficult to hear what was going on.

So that's my random post about the concert - if you couldn't tell ..... I like to jump around a lot.
