Check this out - - “hear” in “heart”….we must have a loving, trusting, listening, patient heart (…just like Him)
Maybe all the answers you want are in the silence He gives. Think about it - the silence could be discipline. His silence could be that He's just listening - God's a fantastic listener. Noise is so common to us and silence isn't, so when we're forced to just sit tight and wait...we freak out - When in reality, we could be experiencing the silence of God's mercy.
When we're suffering He comes to us. The fact is that we are never closer to Christ than when we suffer with Him.
God never wastes pain > suffering redeems
Waiting on God is an act of obedience. Waiting also requires a trusting heart, which can be a little scary - - but be confident that HE is in control! BUT...be confident to know that you are NOT in control. It's called humility, and we all struggle with it. Welcome to the real world =)
-His silence deepens my pursuit of Him
-God is more concerned with growth than getting stuff
-the word “no” is at times more loving
Abba, into Your hands I commit my spirit.

I don't like silence...unless it is in my classroom. Then I hear the truth. I have to face reality. So convicting.
It isn't a good thing. I know I need it. I'm getting better about creating that space. I still need more.
Two question...
1. Is Micah 6:8 your favorite verse and...
2. Mindy Howell, is that person related to you?
