INFJ - yep

Last night I was able to chat it up with a good friend over some smoothies and gelato - good things! We had a discussion about last weeks GSM message on "Shape" and also took a little test on Facebook (MyType) - - This is what I learned.

(wanna know why I am who I am?...continue reading)

INFJ - Introverted iNtuitive Feeling Judging

Strengths
-warm and affirming by nature
-dedicated to achieving the ultimate relationship
-sensitive and concerned for others' feelings
-usually have good communication skills, especially written
-take their commitments very seriously, and seek lifelong relationships
-have very high expectations for themselves and others (both a strength and weakness)
-good listeners

Weaknesses
-tendency to hold back part of themselves
-extreme dislike of conflict and criticism
-have very high expectations for themselves and others (both a strength and weakness)
-not good with money or practical day-to-day life necessities

With life in general INFJs tend to be quite forceful, original and sensitive. We are extremely intuitive about people and mostly concerned with their feelings. They know things intuitively, without being able to pinpoint why, and without detailed knowledge of the subject at hand. INFJs are rarely at complete peace with themselves - there's always something else they should be doing to improve themselves and the world around them. They believe in constant growth, and don't often take time to revel in their accomplishments. In the workplace, the INFJ usually shows up in areas where they can be creative and somewhat independent.

With relationships - INFJ is a deeply warm and caring person who is highly invested in the health of their close relationships, and puts forth a lot of effort to make them positive. They are valued by those close to them for these special qualities. We want to receive affirmation from those we care about.

Overall this test was pretty accurate. Might I suggest that you log onto Facebook and take it yourself. Sarah and I figured out that we are complete opposites (that's why we're friends) haha. I can help her with certain things (feelings and what not) and she can totally help me understand a more concrete way of looking at issues. I am extermely grateful that her and I crossed paths by mistake about a year ago (happy 1 year!!) =) LOL

I'm so behind in my blog commenting. I enjoyed this conversation. Obviously since I talked about it during both of my messages this weekend. Thanks!
