Last week I had a strange dream. I usually don't remember them, but this one....this one I remember everything. I guess at the end of this you can let me know what you think is up - or if my explanation of it makes most sense.
So I lay there, on my stomach (because that's the most comfortable), hands under pillow - nice and snug. All of a sudden I feel someone kiss my forehead (and by feel...I mean feel...it was so real), they also put one of their hands under my pillow to where I was able to hold it. After they so gently kissed me on the forehead they took their free hand and pressed my head into my pillow (trying to suffocate me, I guess). While I was holding their hand, I tried to squeeze it...letting them know that this was freaking me out. I then tried to scream, but as I tried to scream nothing came out. It was like my vocal cords were stripped - and no matter what I tried to do, nothing was working.
When I realized that this was just a dream, I was scared to open my eyes - fearing that there would actually be someone standing next to my bed. Weird.
Here's what I've figured out - not that I'm looking into becoming a dream analyzer - but seriously, when I remember something with this much detail...I just get a little curious!
To dream that you are suffocating, signifies that you are feeling smothered or oppressed by some situation/relationship. Something or someone is holding you back. You are experiencing stress and tension. (HELLO - - DEAD ON!) To dream of a kiss on the forehead represents protection, security and affection. (uh...alrighty. Not quite sure what to think of that, to me it was a sign that I need to give space to certain relationships - and not hold them back from what ever they are wanting to do)

That is so coincidental because I just wrote about one of my dreams today too! Mine was definitely more lighthearted and stupid that yours, BUT, still - random! And I also am kind of interested in the meaning of dreams, because I think that what you dream is typically about whatever is going on on the inside unconsciously, you know? Anyway... if nothing else, it is definitely interesting!
