I learned last night that I have a pride issue, and although I know I've been in the wrong before - - it's still sometimes hard to face the fact that I need to forgive myself.
God sees you through the lens of what Jesus did for us on the cross. He sees us as forgiven and free - will we embrace that? Live inside His forgiveness when you find it hard to forgive yourself.
You are free from shame and guilt
Pslam 139: 23-24
Search me, O God, and know my heart;
test me and know my anxious thoughts.
See if there is any offensive way in me,
and lead me in the way everlasting.
Allow Him to search you, but also know that He will lead you through it, not leave you.
